Erin and Dylan are getting married this coming May at the Frontier Culture Museum in Virginia.  But before the big day, they celebrated their love for one another and Carolina blue in Chapel Hill.  Robyn Van Dyke was on hand to capture some wonderful stolen moments on the very picturesque campus.  And she should know about picturesque moments in Chapel Hill…you might remember we featured Robyn’s own gorgeous wedding in Chapel Hill last year.  Well she’s back, this time behind the camera. And from the look of these incredible images, I’d say she’s got a great career in the works!

See more of this beautiful engagement session on Robyn’s blog.  Thanks so much for sharing these images Robyn.  Can’t wait to see more of your work here on White Thread!  And congratulations to Erin and Dylan!

A totally adorable engagement session for y’all to end the week.  Kellie Kano certainly needs no intro…at least not on White Thread where I’m a wee bit obsessed with her work .  To make matters even sweeter, the super cute bride-to-be Ashley is a White Thread reader who personally reached out to me to see if her and fiance Matt’s e-session might just be feature worthy.  Um…in a word…YES!!  I can barely stand the wait for the wedding!  Please, please, please let us see you on here in all your bridal glory Ashley!

I was never quite sure whether I would feature engagement sessions here on White Thread.  Then I saw Ellison + Jeremy’s session from Kellie Kano and it was just too lovely and romantic and dreamy not to.  There is an ethereal beauty to these images that for some reason reminds me of the movie The Notebook in a rural setting.  And if there was ever a reason to NOT be afraid of rain, these photos are it!  Instead of rescheduling or doing an all indoor shot, the couple grabbed some umbrellas and embraced it.  And thank goodness they did.  Those shots with the umbrella and in the boat with the water rippling so slightly from raindrops are perfection.  I can’t wait to see their wedding pictures this coming spring.  With Kellie behind the lens, they are sure to be jaw dropping.  Congrats Ellison + Jeremy!
