It’s been a little while since I did a review of some hot shoes, and that just won’t do for a shoe lover like me!  So today’s post is my red fix.

It takes a certain kind of bride to rock some red shoes under her dress…one that I’m pretty sure I want to be BFFs with.  Lining them all up this way shows you just how many shades of this gorgeous color there are.  When I think about red I immediately envision a deep, blood like red vs. fire engine red or even candy apple red.   Regardless of the shade, they are all equally fearless, bold and super fun.

I think my favorites of the bunch are the those sky high Stuart Weitzman’s (first row, left), the flower-adorned Nannette Lepore’s (second row, left) and those absolutely insane glittered Louboutin’s.  I mean if you’re going to go red, you might as well throw glitter into the mix right?

I think at this point my obsession love of shoes is pretty well documented.  But hot pink shoes hold a special place in my heart.  The vibrancy just makes me happy!  And the contrast of a shocking pair of pink heels poking out from under a white wedding dress is just perfection.  So putting this post together was both fun and absolute torture because I want all of them lined up in my closet like the perfect little pretties they are!

Seriously, those Louboutin heels are RIDICULOUS!  Must.Exert.Self.Control.  But you don’t have to!  Treat yourself to a pair of hot pink heels for an unmistakable splash of personality on your wedding day.

Purple has been enjoying a much deserved resurggence as of late it seems.  I’ve been noticing some of my favorite daily reads posting purple inspired weddings and inspiration boards.  Bring it on, I say!  Deep and regal aubergine, vibrant and cheerful amethyst or pale and feminine wisteria, purple is beautiful and versatile any time of year and in so many combinations.

And what is the perfect finishing touch to a purple inspired wedding?  Why gorgeous purple shoes of course (as if you needed another excuse to buy some hot heels)!

FULL DISCLOSURE:  Scouring the web for all these beauties proved to be too much for the shoe collector in me and I am now the owner of those boutique 9 purple suede heels (bottom right).  Proof that you can wear these after your wedding!

Eat your heart out Cinderella!  I’d take a sparkly peep-toe beauty like this over a glass slipper any day.  For the bride looking for a little extra bling, these would look killer poking out from under a dress.  I love that they aren’t a solid color but have more of an ombré effect to them.  The hidden platform and chunky jewel at the peep toe make them just about perfect.  Get your pair HERE.
