This has to be some of the most gorgeous editorial styling I have ever laid eyes on.  The Winter/Spring 2010 issue of Washingtonian Bride & Groom has been sitting on my desk with this BEAUTIFUL spread dog-eared for many, many months.  I finally got around to scanning my favorite images and if you haven’t seen the magazine, you are in for some serious eye candy.  Not only are the gowns breathtaking but so is the photography and overall styling of this circus themed shoot.  I could look at these all day.  So much inspiration on every page, I seriously recommend picking up a copy the next time you’re in the DC area.

I don’t know who’s doing the styling on these shoots but they are brilliant.  Check out this great behind-the-scenes video of the making of of their latest fashion shoot in the Summer/Fall issue.  It looks like A TON of work but it also looks super fun and the result is awesome.

You’ve heard me gush on and on about how much I love the Modern Trousseau bridal line here, here and here.  I know…you’d think I was on the payroll with how much I post about them, but I’m not!  I just can’t get enough of designer Callie’s perfect melding of classic silhouettes with unique and modern touches.  I’ve long believed it is the perfect embodiment of today’s Southern bride.

So now you know why I squealed with delight when I received word that they are opening their first ever showroom outside of NYC in my absolute favorite little corner of the South – Charleston, SC!!!!

For me, no other city epitomizes the charm and beauty of the South like Charleston.  And Modern Trousseau’s new boutique on King Street is just about the perfect melding of two of my most favorite things.  Not only will the entire Modern Trousseau line be available for you lucky brides to try on but there will even be gowns exclusive to only the Charleston location.  All coming next month so get your appointments booked you lucky things!

I am loving this ingenious “design your own bling” application on the Kendra Scott Jewelry website.  Dubbed the Color Bar, the super easy-to-use interface lets you browse through some gorgeous earrings and design your own custom creations using any combination of twenty crystal colors plus gold or silver hardware.  How perfect would this be for that just-so color combination for your bridesmaids?  You can save as many creations as you want and even share them with your girls before buying.

Not feeling all that creative?  Fear not, the line also has some gorgeous ready-to-wear options and even a bridal line with some incredible statement necklaces.  A few of my favorite offerings below:

This sparkly crystal bib necklace (lower left) is KILLING me!  And I love that it would look as incredible with your gown as it would with some jeans and cute heels on a post-wedding night out on the town.

I’m dying to hear what you guys think about this dress.  It’s certainly unique and has a very organic quality to it with the fabric remnant skirt.  Would you ever wear something like this?

Big news this morning for Carolina fans of the Priscilla of Boston bridal line – their Signature Salon experience is coming to Raleigh!

As a long time fan of the line, this is so exciting.  I have long preached that the POB label as well as Melissa Sweet, Vineyard, Jewel, Platinum and Reverie (which all fall under the same design house) are tailor made for the Carolina bride.  Classic sensibilities with modern touches thrown in for of-the-moment looks.  I really think there is a dress for every bride and every budget in these lines.  Indeed, two of my all-time favorite dresses from my Top Ten series are by Priscilla of Boston & Melissa Sweet.

The grand opening is slated for Saturday, June 19th, and it is the first and only Priscilla of Boston Signature Salon in the Carolinas.  The boutique will be located at 2023 Cameron Street in Raleigh in the heart of Cameron Village.

They will also carry their lovely bridesmaid designs so even if you already have your dress but are still on the hunt for your girls, you have to check it out!

No further word on if locally owned boutiques who carry the line will continue to do so or if the Signature Salon will become the one spot to get your hands on one of these beauties.  Maybe someone in the know will chime in and fill us in!

Either way, we couldn’t be more excited to welcome Priscilla of Boston and crew to Raleigh.  Carolina brides thank you!
